For example, we cannot extract personal information such as a phone number from them. It is important for us to inform you about this as clearly as possible. We use functional, analytical, and marketing and tracking cookies. To ensure your privacy as much as possible and to give you the opportunity to decide which cookies we may collect, we would like to provide you with more information.

Functional cookies

Functional cookies are necessary to provide you with the best experience on our website. We use functional cookies, for example, to read your browser settings and display our website optimally on your screen. We do not need your permission to collect these cookies.

Which functional cookies are placed and how do they work?

With functional cookies, three sources place a cookie, all of which are deleted after one session:

  • A session on the website to make the website perform normally and temporarily store data.
  • A cookie notification to determine whether you have accepted cookies or not.
  • Google Tag Manager, to manage tags on the website.

Analytical cookies

We place analytical cookies to analyze your visits to our website with Google Analytics and optimize the website for you as a visitor. We do not need permission to collect these cookies because they have little to no impact on your privacy. You will always remain anonymous. We have also concluded a data processing agreement with Google.

Which analytical cookies are placed and how do they work?

In the case of analytical cookies, five sources place cookies, all of which are deleted after a certain period of time:

  • Google Analytics, to inform us about visits to our website. These cookies are deleted after fourteen months to two years.
  • Google Optimize, to provide insight into the user experience of the website by testing new features. This cookie is stored for a maximum of two years.
  • Hotjar, this cookie provides insight into viewing and clicking behavior. With this information, we can optimize our website. This cookie is stored for a maximum of one year.

Marketing and tracking cookies

These are cookies we use for remarketing. If we have information that we find interesting for you, such as a job vacancy or an interesting blog, we can use these cookies to show relevant advertisements on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn. Of course, we need your consent for this.

Which marketing and tracking cookies are placed and how do they work?

In the case of marketing and tracking cookies, six sources place cookies, all of which are deleted after a certain period of time:

  • Google Double Click places cookies that track which pages you view so that we can show relevant advertisements. We also track how often you see them, click on them, and whether you convert. These cookies are stored for a maximum of 2 years.
  • Google Remarketing places cookies that allow us to understand how you use our website. This way, we can provide personalized recommendations on our website, in our newsletter, and in emails with personal tips. These cookies are deleted after 90 days.
  • Google Signals places cookies that anonymously show how our website is used and whether actions are taken. This behavior is tracked across different devices, including general location, search history, YouTube history, and data from sites that collaborate with Google. This allows us to show relevant advertisements based on your device. These cookies are stored for a maximum of 26 months.
  • The LinkedIn pixel tracks which pages you view so that we can show relevant advertisements on LinkedIn. This pixel is stored for a maximum of 2 years.
  • The Facebook pixel tracks which pages you view so that we can show relevant advertisements on Facebook. This pixel is stored for a maximum of 2 years.

Browser settings

If you do not want websites to place cookies on your computer, you can adjust this in your browser settings. You can also easily delete cookies that have already been placed. However, this does not mean that you will no longer see any advertisements. You will still see ads on platforms like Facebook or the Google Display Network; they will just no longer be tailored to your interests and may appear more frequently.
